FA Private Bank is hosting a painting exhibition by Hussein Madi.

Paintings will be on display at the bank’s headquarters in Beirut Central District from Thursday June 20 till Thursday August 15 and it will be open for public from Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM till 6:00 PM.

This 7th exhibition is part of the bank’s commitment to social responsibility through supporting talented artists by displaying their work. This event will be followed by other similar exhibitions from a selection of emerging Lebanese or foreign contemporary painters, sculptors, and photographers.

The event is organized in collaboration with FFA Private Bank’s Art Consultant Mrs. Nada Boulos El Assaad and Aida Cherfan Fine Art.

About Hussein Madi:

Hussein Madi was born in Chebaa (Hermon) in 1938 and studied painting, sculpture, and etching in Beirut and Rome. From the year 1973 until 1986, Madi taught painting and sculpture in the Lebanese University. In 1965 Madi received his first prize in Sursock Museum, Salon d’Automne.  In 1982, Hussein became president of the “Association of Lebanese Artists” until 1992. Hussein Madi has been exhibiting at Aida Cherfan Fine Art for 13 years, and his publications include “The Art of Madi”, “Madi Sculptures 1969-2009” and “Madi, A boundless life”
